Temperature Gauge Issue

29 November 2022

The new gauges have arrived and all ovens with the older Kiwi gauge will be sent out a new gauge from the end of this week.

1 March 2022

In June 2021 we had to move suppliers for our temperature gauges and recently a common issue has been brought to our attention. When The Kiwi Outdoor Oven reaches a higher temperature, the gauge is proving not to cope and can stop working, the needle may drop off or it will get "stuck" on a temperature and will no longer read the temperature correctly.

The temperature gauge is always meant to provide a guide for cooking and we find The Kiwi Outdoor Oven to be  quite forgiving for temperature adjustment but we are very disappointed as we take pride in the quality of our products. We are working on finding a new supplier, it is going to take a little while.

In the meantime all new ovens will be supplied with two gauges and if you have found this to be an issue with your gauge (it looks the same as the picture below), please complete the form below and we will send you a new gauge.

Thank you for your understanding and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
