About the Recipe
Introduced to a family recipe created by the Nan and passed down through the grandchildren, this recipe is simple and tasty that is the perfect side dish or meal.
We love family recipes, they are usually made randomly and enjoyed by everyone leading to constant remake or request. Traditionally cooked in a conventional oven, we decided to give it a run through the Kiwi Outdoor Oven. enhancing the flavours and adding in a nice smoky aftertaste, it has become one of our
favourites.

Ingredients
2 courgettes sliced thinly, cut in half
2T butter
2-3t crushed garlic
1 brown onion sliced thinly, cut in half
Grated cheese (as much as you like)
Sprinkle of Mixed herbs
Salt and Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the courgettes and onion, mix together in a bowl.
Place in a large baking dish
Step 2
Melt the butter and mix in the garlic, herbs, salt and pepper.
Then pour this mixture over the courgette and onion slices
Top with grated cheese (we like parmesan or tasty the best).
Step 3
Bake in the Kiwi Outdoor Oven untill the courgettes are soft and the cheese is melted.
Roughly 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.
